Marie T. Fluent, DDS, CDIPC
Dr. Fluent is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Her dental career spanned 35 years and included roles as dentist, infection control coordinator, office manager, and dental assistant. She now lectures, writes and consults extensively on infection control, OSHA compliance, eye safety, and antibiotic stewardship in dentistry.
Dr. Fluent is on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Antibiotic Resistance Reduction Coalition (MARR). In 2022 she helped OSAP secure CDC grant funding to disseminate antibiotic stewardship resources to dental personnel and led OSAP’s first-ever Antibiotic Stewardship Summit. She is passionate and deeply committed to educate the dental community to be stewards of antibiotics and strive for the safest dental visit™.
